Crow frowned at the blindingly bright screen of his iPhone as he tapped in commands. He had had to take an extra shift that day, and now one of his coworkers at the store he worked at was trying to get him to take another shift. Crow was trying to keep his normal shift, seeing as the last time he'd taken someone else's shift, he'd had to miss a much-anticipated date with Shatter.
He sighed, closing his eyes for a moment and folding an arm behind his head as he lay on his and Shatter's bed. His girlfriend was grabbing a bite to eat out in the kitchen; Crow had eaten before he'd come home.
Crow glanced up as Shatter came into their bedroom. She closed the door behind her, letting Felix slip inside before the hinges creaked closed. She smiled at him as he typed an excuse into a text message.
Shatter wore a cami and shorts that hugged her curves in all the right places, and Crow smiled as she crawled across the bed toward him. "Hey," she said, settling in next to him and kissing his cheek. He tucked an arm around her waist, her body curving perfectly into his. Her stormy grey eyes looked at the screen of his phone. "What are you doing?"
He frowned again. "Trying to talk my way out of an extra shift," he replied. "This guy just won't take a hint."
Shatter chuckled a little and rested her head on his shoulder. She tucked her head under his chin. "Just leave it," she said. "I'm sure he'll get it if you just say you can't do it outright."
"Hm," he began. "Yeah, I guess you're right." Shatter looked up at him, smiling mischievously.
"Or, you know, you could just say 'sorry, I got distracted and didn't see your text,'" she said, grinning at him.
He laughed, and put his phone down, his arm encircling her waist. "Oops."
Just a little scene I whipped up :3 obviously, Crow and Shatter belong to me
